2017 Legislative Report
On November 22, 2017, the Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission met and approved funding recommendations for FY19 grants to regionally designated parks and trails in Greater Minnesota.
Of the 47 regionally designated parks and trails in the Greater Minnesota system (at the time of application), the Commission received 19 applications and selected 13 projects totaling $8,809,875, to recommend for approval. Review the full legislative Policy and Planning Report for 2017 HERE.
The 13 projects recommended for funding will further enhance the outdoor recreation experience for Minnesotans and visitors to the state, as well as providing an economic impact in the communities in which the projects are taking place.
